Roaming abroad - Cut costs by up to 95%

[cs_content][cs_element_section _id="1"][cs_element_row _id="2"][cs_element_column _id="3"][cs_text _order="0"]

When it comes to roaming abroad, the price difference between Norwegian providers and local providers is very large. That's why Adite gives you access to local prices from all the international providers around the world, before you are travelling. This applies whether you are travelling to a single destination or through several countries. The service applies to both companies and individuals.

This is done by using two SIM cards, or an eSIM, so that you can use local rates and at the same time be available on your Norwegian number. Adite connects you to a local telecoms provider, allowing you to roam abroad at local rates. In the past, we've cut international roaming costs for customers with 95%.

You can either order eSIM with local prices yourself hereor you can let Adite take care of all the work for you. For businesses, it's often more complex, and it can be good to deal with just one company that handles everything for you. For businesses, we do the whole job and give them one invoice in NOK. For individuals, it will be easiest to shop for SIM cards on their own.

If you often roam abroad, the benefits will be significant.

[/cs_text][cs_text]

More accessibility. If you switch to a local SIM, you will be unavailable until the new SIM card is activated. In the meantime, you won't be able to roam without incurring additional costs.

Be available on two SIM cards. With eSIM, you can use data at local rates and still be available on your Norwegian phone number. Alternatively, you can use apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Slack etc. and avoid high costs for calls and messages.

Easy to switch between different suppliers. If you're travelling to several countries, you don't need to physically change your SIM card. Just change your eSIM profile and you'll pay local prices for roaming.

No waiting time. Unlike a physical SIM, the eSIM is ready to use on your phone at any time.

No shipping costs. If it's going to be sent from Asia or the US, shipping can be expensive, especially for companies with many employees. eSIM is not a physical SIM card, and is therefore ready on your mobile before you go abroad.

Save time. If you're travelling to a destination outside of Europe, you'll probably want to turn off roaming to avoid a very high mobile phone bill. Then you'll probably want to get a local SIM card with access to local rates.
The disadvantage of this would be that you would naturally be spending unnecessary time acquiring a local SIM card when you arrive. With eSIM, you have the SIM card installed on your mobile before you leave.

Surfroam - best in test[/x_custom_headline][cs_text _order="0"]

Surfroam stands out significantly in this comparison; they have no packages, you only pay for what you use. This way you don't have to pay for packages that are too big or too small. In the cheapest countries, it only costs €0.01 (about 10 cents) per MB. This is a very affordable and good solution.

You can choose between an eSIM or a physical SIM. The start-up cost for an eSIM is €20 and for a physical SIM it's €15. You can use this to pay down your data usage, which in practice means that there is no start-up cost.

Coverage is very good, with more than 200 countries, which means you can pretty much roam anywhere. Surfroam itself uses the term "Borderless Internet", which is what eSIM is in practice. This means you'll be able to travel anywhere and be easily connected to a local telecoms provider.

Order online, they don't have an app.

Surfroam is our recommended supplier because

Airalo[/x_custom_headline][cs_text _order="0"]

Airalo primarily offers low-cost eSIM, both for businesses and private individuals. Since they only offer eSIM, it's easy to keep track of their services. With eSIM, you can access local prices in most countries. Airalo allows you to choose exactly which country you want to visit and gives you access to the local prices.

In addition, you can order prepaid regional eSIM, if you're visiting several areas over a short period of time. For example, you can get unlimited data in 14 different countries in Asia over 8 days.

It's very easy to get an overview of your roaming costs with Airalo. They're also cheap. The downside is if you need services beyond cheap roaming with eSIM, which they don't offer. You can get started by downloading their app.
