When it comes to roaming abroad, the price difference between Norwegian providers and local providers is very large. This is done by using two SIM cards, or an eSIM, so that you can use local rates and at the same time be available on your Norwegian number. Easy to switch between different suppliers. If you're travelling to several countries, you don't need to physically change your SIM card. Just change your eSIM profile and you'll pay local prices for roaming.
No waiting time. Unlike a physical SIM, the eSIM is ready to use on your phone at any time.
No shipping costs. If it's going to be sent from Asia or the US, shipping can be expensive, especially for companies with many employees. eSIM is not a physical SIM card, and is therefore ready on your mobile before you go abroad.
Save time. If you're travelling to a destination outside of Europe, you'll probably want to turn off roaming to avoid a very high mobile phone bill. Then you'll probably want to get a local SIM card with access to local rates.
